Saturday 11 February - Duck Pluck Off
It’s a long weekend next weekend and there is even a couple of days of duck shooting for you to enjoy. Get your practice in because the  following weekend... We are bringing back the duck pluck off! 
Saturday 11 Feb @ 5pm bring your ducks and we’ll pluck and pluck ‘til they’re well, let’s just say plucked. The lucky plucker who’s the fastest will indeed be the fastest lucky plucker around! 

Fishing Competition - First weekend in March 
Same categories as last season, Register on the Thursday night between 5 and 7pm. Fishing begins at sunrise Friday morning and weigh in begins 5pm Friday until 5pm Sunday. Prizegiving 5:30 Sunday. As always awesome prizes!

BROWN RAGE...
Who are these people running Karaoke at The Brown? Glenn and Linda Young, or as we (aka Trev) like to call them 'Brown Rage', well simply, they are two lovely recent Methvenites who know how to liven up the crowd. Linda is happy to sing for a bit to get the night going while Glenn seems to have a knack for encouraging those who might not otherwise endulge. The main thing is rockstar or not everyone can get up and have a go, and promise the barstaff are laughing with you, not at you. ;)

Held every second Sunday morning over summer on the Main Street of Methven, around the Centennial Oak in the Square. If you don't come for a wander round you are missing something very special!
